The Sapporo Snow Festival is one of Japan's largest winter events.It
attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every
year. The glittering beauty and breath taking whiteness does nothing but mesmerize the viewers. Variety of snow sculptures and statues are made. The Sapporo Snow Festival is held during one week in February. It started in 1950.
